A big event was held to celebrate this occasion attended by world top celebrities.
Yol Phokasub, Chief Executive Officer of Central Retail Corporation Public Company Limited said “On behalf of Central Retail, we are so pleased that Rinascente Turin has officially been launched with a totally bigger and better look. It is perfect for a progressive public and a city whose stylistic hallmark has always been elegance and distinction. A project that offers tangible solutions to new demands, and that once again confirms Rinascente’s mission statement that has always been “FOR THE CITY, WITH THE CITY, IN THE CITY”. The new location is in line with the architectural and cultural excellence of the local area, it adds value to the pedestrian area of Via Lagrange, and helps to elevate the prestige of a place as the center of the city adored by the people of Turin and tourists alike. All these emphasize Central Retail key strategic foundation in expanding businesses beyond Thailand.”
A refined and contemporary building has been created and, like all the stores in the Rinascente Collection, one that bears the signature of important names in architecture and design. They include Gianmatteo Romegialli, who shaped the project and is responsible for the store façade and ground floor; the 1st and 2nd floors were designed by Paolo Lucchetta, the 3rd and -1 floors by Fabio Fantolino, and the 4th floor by David Lopez & Fanny Bauer. The finishing of the stores is simple in design and colors are neutral so that they don’t distract from the marked identity of the individual brands.
The highlight of this whole renovation is complemented by the new fashion and accessories area which is simply perfect for finding all the elements that give a look character. This is where you can explore the new collections by luxury brands like ALEXANDER MCQUEEN, BOTTEGA VENETA, BURBERRY and MARNI, and their total look concept that includes bags, shoes and clothing. There is also a multiband area dedicated to the bag. With the most popular fashion brands like LONGCHAMP, MICHAEL KORS, ORCIANI, ZANELLATO, KENZO, MARGE, SHARK legendary brands like COCCINELLE, GIANNI CHIARINI, THE BRIDGE, and such great classics in leatherwear as KATE SPADE, that stands out for their feminine and fun mood. Bags are joined by belts and gloves from ARISTIDE and MAISON BOINET, and textile accessories, the stars of the winter season. There is also space for jewelry from ATELIER VM with its distinctive “welded love” bracelet, ALIITA, ATHENS, HERMINIA, ISABEL MARANT, REBECCA and many more. Naturally, the space had to include eyewear with such cult brands as CHANEL, GUCCI and indispensable RAYBAN.
Another highlight which presents the international allure of Rinascente Turin is also expressed in the Japanese-Brazilian fusion specialties by Temakinho, the world-renowned restaurant chain that was inaugurated in 2012 and immediately made its love of cuisine and eco sustainability a distinctive characteristic. So much so that in 2016 it was the first one in the world to achieve the Friend of the Sea certificate for its use of sustainable fish. The restaurant is located on the -1 floor and ground floor, where it also has a pleasant outdoor. The design pays homage to the Amazon rainforest and the marvelous creatures that live there, with objects and details made entirely by hand. Temakinho at Rinascente Turin enables customers to indulge fully in luxurious comfort and great food.
