National Assembly Chairman Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue and a high-ranking Vietnamese National Assembly delegation received Mr. Yol Phokasub, CEO of Central Retail Corporation and Mr. Thirayuth Chirathivat, CEO of Centara Hotels & Resorts along with other representatives of Central Retail Vietnam as part of the framework of the official visit to Thailand, on the morning of December 8 in Bangkok.

In the meeting, Mr. Yol presented an insightful overview of Central Retail Vietnam’s remarkable 11-year journey, emphasising the confidence in Vietnam’s potential and the sustained commitment to business operations in Vietnam, even amidst various challenges such as the Covid-19 pandemic. Mr. Yol further proposed for the Vietnamese government to consider laws and regulations, aiming to elevate the convenience and efficiency of investments and business operations in Vietnam

This commitment extends to enhancing the quality of life for local communities, leading environmentally friendly activities, and driving sustainable growth for the people of Vietnam.

In response, Mr. Hue congratulated Central Retail Vietnam on its significant milestones, commending the corporation's steadfast collaboration with Vietnam. He reaffirmed that the Vietnamese government remains committed to enhance legislative frameworks to facilitate ease of doing business and to instill confidence in foreign investors. Mr. Hue expressed hope for an even greater investment presence from Central Group in Vietnam moving forward.
