Central Retail celebrates a year of success with 57 awards in 2024 in various categories including HR, Business & Governance, Sustainability, Leadership, and IR
Bangkok, December 19, 2024 – Central Retail Corporation Public Company Limited (CRC) showcased its success as a leading retailer and wholesaler in Thailand, Vietnam, and Italy in 2024. The company earned a total of 57 awards from 29 global institutions and leading publications, both domestically and internationally. These awards spanned key areas such as Human Resources, Business Management & Governance, Sustainability, Leadership, and Investor Relations. This success reflects CRC’s commitment to people, along with strong ecosystems, resilient portfolios, and exceptional managerial proficiency under the CRC OMNI-Intelligence vision across its five business groups: Food, Fashion, Hardline, Property, and Health & Wellness.
CRC’s business performance in the third quarter of this year was a testament to its success, with an 86% increase in profit and total revenue exceeding 63,114 million THB. This achievement was aligned with its "CRC Care" philosophy, emphasising ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) across seven dimensions. It marked a significant milestone for CRC in 2024, as the company earned numerous top-tier awards, which can be categorised into five key aspects:
- Human Resources: 26 Awards – CRC’s emphasis on “people” as the core driving force of the organisation has been central to its success. Through its “HAI” strategy, CRC fosters growth and career opportunities for nearly 60,000 employees while promoting an innovative, equitable, and sustainable work environment for all.
