This honour underscores Tops’ leadership as the number-one food retailer in Thailand, marking yet another milestone in its successful business operations over the past year. With the goal of delivering the best shopping experience every day to customers of all generations under the concept of ‘Every Day DISCOVERY,’ Tops also focuses on creating a more liveable and sustainable world in every dimension

Bronze Award in the “Best Community Programme” category

Central Retail Corporation Public Company Limited (CRC) received the Bronze Award in the “Best Community Programme” category at the 16th Annual Global CSR & ESG Awards 2024. This marks the fourth consecutive year CRC has been honored, following achievements of the Jing Jai Farmers' Market Project in 2021 and the Samui Model Project in 2022 and 2023. The awards, organised by The Pinnacle Group International, recognise organisations for their social and environmental responsibility.
This year's winning project is the "Ban Thepphana Agricultural Product and Community Product Learning Center" in Thepsathit, Chaiyaphum province, one of seven communities growing the world-renowned Hass avocado in Thailand. Central Retail has transformed the community’s agricultural practices from monoculture to sustainable farming, improving environmental sustainability and increasing farmers' income by promoting high-value crops. The project emphasises smart agricultural careers and community collaboration.
The award ceremony took place in Hanoi, Vietnam, where Mr. Chalermchai Pornsiripiyakool, Head of CSR and International Corporate Affairs at Central Retail Vietnam, received the award on behalf of CRC.
